SS Dredgers Theme- Documentation

Requirements:

You need at least WordPress version 4.5+ installed for this theme to work properly. It is strongly recommended that you always use the latest stable version of WordPress to ensure all known bugs and security issues are fixed. Other requirements:

PHP version 5.6 or greater. But for maximum speed gain, we recommend you to use PHP version 7.3+.
MySQL version 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB version 10.0 or greater.
The WordPress memory limit of 128 MB or greater.

Recommended PHP Configuration Limits

Many issues that you may run into such as white screen,400 error, 500 error, demo content fails when importing, empty page content and other similar issues are all related to low PHP configuration limits. The solution is to increase the PHP limits. You can do this on your own using Cpanel, or contact your web host and ask them to increase those limits to a minimum as follows:

Max_execution_time 300
Memory_limit 128M
Post_max_size 54M
Upload_max_filesize 128M

Logo:

Step-by-step instructions:

Navigate to Appearance > Customize> Header Area
Click change image and select your Logo and upload the Logo
After that click Publish.

Banner Section:

log in to your WordPress site’s administration area
Navigate to Appearance > Customize> Banner Sliders
Banner Slider Image- You can change the slider Image here
Title- You can change Banner Title here
Description- You can write Banner Paragraph
URL – You can Add a Button link
URL2 – You can Add a Button link

If you want to add more sliders you can do it. Click Add Slide and fill up the form in the above picture.

Client:

Step-by-step instructions:

Navigate to Appearance > Customize> Client Sectio
Client Image- Click the Upload button and select the client log
Client URL- Add the client website link in the URL area.

Management:

Step-by-step instructions:

Navigate to Appearance > Customize> Management Section
Management Image: Click the Upload button and select the client logo.
Title: Write management name.
Subtitle: Write a management subtitle
Descriptions: Write management described here.
Management URL: Add the Management website link in the URL area.

Homepage:

Our service section:

Our service section will change automatically when writing a new post about your service. For writing a post go to Post > Add New

Now write the Title in the Title area and write the description in the description area. The category will be SERVICE. It is mandatory. If you don’t select the SERVICE category post will be published but it will show in the home page service section.

On going section:

Update On-going post. Go to Project > Add New Project

Now write the Title in the Title area and write the description in the description area. The category will be On-going project. It is mandatory. If you don’t select the On-going project category post will be published but it will show in the home page service section.
